about
This fall, at The Falcon’s Eye Theatre at Folsom Lake College, we present William Shakespeare’s hysterical farce about two sets of identical twins lost at sea, The Comedy of Errors. Join us for this live, virtual performance where we take you on a fast-paced comic journey outside the typical Zoom box! Actors won't be stuck in tiny individual Zoom boxes. Instead, this wacky, Pop Art inspired landscape is collaged together with cutting edge technology. Virtual admission includes at home performance activities that audience members use to participate in the interactive fun: you may even become part of the show!
This performance is presented using Zoom Webinar. Virtual tickets can be purchased by selecting a performance date and time below. Each ticket buyer will be emailed a unique URL link to access the webinar. Do not share this link with others, as each link can only be used on one device. This show features performance activities that audience members can do to participate in interactive elements of the show. Interactive Activities
Comedy of Errors Bingo: In keeping with the title of the show, we have created a bingo card of “Errors” that might be encountered during the performance. Please play along as you watch the show. The first audience member to get “bingo”, and declare it in the webinar chat, will get a special call out at the end of our show, and a prize! The bingo card can be found here. You can play the bingo game on your phone, or print it out to complete on paper.
Be a part of the show: Since we are in a Zoom webinar, and won't be able to see any of your pretty faces, we are offering a chance to put you in the show! If you take a selfie and send it to falconseyetheatre.flc@gmail.com we may put your face somewhere in the performance. The deadline for submitting your photo will be 12 hours before your scheduled show time. Please only send us selfies of yourself or a loved one who has given permission to be a part of the show. Reminder: that a recording of the performance may be posted publicly on YouTube at a future date.
Word of the day: Prepare your drink of choice and join us in toasting the word of the day each time the word is said. The word of the day is different for each performance, and is a surprise to our actors each night!
