Coming April 30th, the Falcon’s Eye presents the Tony Award-winning musical comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
This hilarious hit musical tale of overachievers' angst chronicles the experiences of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The Tony Award-winning creative team has created a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in.
Showtimes for The Putnam County Spelling Bee are April 30 through May 16, 2010, at 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and at 2:00pm on Sunday afternoons.
There are added special performances on Saturday May 8 at 2:00 p.m. and
Thursday May 13 at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are 15 dollars for general admission and 10 dollars for students, seniors, SARTA and League members. Employees of Los Rios and Staff and Parishioners of Oak Hills Church are admitted for 5 dollars. For the special student night performance on Thursday May 13 at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday May 8 at 2:00 pm, tickets for all patrons are 5 dollars FOR THESE PERFORMANCES ONLY. At this time, The Falcon’s Eye can only accept payment by cash or check. We cannot accept payment by credit card or ATM card.
This performance contains some mature themes. Parental Guidance suggested for those under 13. Children under 8 years of age are NEVER admitted. Neither are pets except service animals.
Performances of The Putnam County Spelling Bee take place at Oak Hills Church. The address of the church is 1100 Blue Ravine Road in Folsom. Upon arrival at the church, follow signs to the auditorium.
